Course Summary

This course explores major historical events from early human development to the late Middle Ages. Students will study early civilizations in the Middle East, North Africa, India, and China, including the origins of Hinduism and Buddhism. They will also examine classical civilizations, the medieval period, and the growth of societies in Africa, Asia, and Europe.
