Agriscience Foundations I- Grade 12

In this course, students dive into agricultural history and its global impact, learn about scientific and research concepts that drive the field as well as the effects of agriculture on the environment. The course will also teach them about the career opportunities in agriculture and how to best promote themselves to land their dream job. Specialized lab activities provide students hands-on practice to master the lessons, and they will have the unique experience of interviewing an Agriscience worker related to the career of their interest. At the end of the course, students will have the opportunity to become industry-certified as an Agriculture Associate!
