What is International Schooling?
International Schooling, with the motto Changing Lives for the Best, offers the American curriculum for students all across the globe. Accredited by Cognia (NWAC, NCA, & SACS, CASI), USA, approved by the College Board, USA, and powered by Discovery Education, the school offers excellent quality education for grades KG–12, supported by 600+ internationally trained and certified teachers speaking 40+ languages.
Is International Schooling an 'ACCREDITED' school?
Yes, International Schooling is accredited by Cognia, formerly known as AdvancED (NWAC, NCA, SACS, and CASI), which is the oldest, largest, and most esteemed school accreditation organization based in the USA.
Does my child need advanced technology skills to study with you?
No, you don’t need any special technology skills. Basic knowledge of how to use a computer and the internet is enough. Our learning management system is very strong, simple, and self-guiding, built to provide ease and friendliness to students.
What is SAT?
The Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) is a standardized test widely used for college admissions across the globe. It is administered by the College Board, USA. The SAT measures students' readiness for colleges and universities by assessing their skills in critical reading, writing, and mathematics.
What is AP?
Advanced Placement (AP) courses are college-level courses offered in high school. These courses are designed to challenge students academically and prepare them for college-level work. AP courses cover a wide range of subjects, including but not limited to mathematics, sciences, languages, history, and the arts.
How will my child choose a course?
You can visit our website to explore all the courses and find out what suits you best. You can then choose a course based on your career plan and eligibility. You can always contact us for information on courses, and we’ll help you choose your grade or course.
What programs and courses can my child choose from International Schooling's offerings?
You can choose from three learning programs at International Schooling: One-to-One, Group Learning, and Self-Learning. One-to-One offers flexible, personalized instruction at your pace. Group Learning provides a multicultural classroom with fixed schedules. Self-Learning lets you study independently with 500+ self-paced courses.
Can my child change subjects/courses after enrollment?
You may not change your subject/course, as you’re required to complete the entire course to be promoted to another course. However, in most cases, you will have to pay the tuition fee applicable for the new course that you opt for.
How will the classes be conducted?
When you register with us, you have the option and freedom to choose your grade and subjects based on your eligibility and preference. Upon successful completion of your enrollment, you gain access to our Learning Management System, where all your classes, lectures, assignments, and other academic work and milestones are mentioned.
How will my child be monitored?
At International Schooling, your child will continuously be monitored and guided by its academic and support teams. All your ‘Log-in’ hours and your coursework are thoroughly monitored.
What is 'Meet Your Classmates'? Also, when is it held?
'Meet Your Classmates' is a vibrant weekly session crafted for your child to gather in an interactive environment, featuring engaging activities and enjoyable games with their peers.
Is attendance mandatory?
You can study at your own time and location, but International Schooling expects you to complete the required hours for your course to earn credits. Thus, attendance is necessary.
Do I need to purchase any books for my child?
All essential course material is provided by the school, including the digital curriculum and external reference material; you aren’t required to purchase anything.
How will my child get study materials and resources?
All study materials and resources are provided online. Your child will be able to access them through their preferred devices (or as prescribed by International Schooling), at their preferred locations, and at convenient times during their course.
Can the credits be transferred?
Yes, there are options for transferring your previous credits, coursework, and academic accomplishments. You are guided through such options when you enroll with us.
Will the students get to interact with teachers for support and guidance?
Yes, at International Schooling you are offered live, face-to-face online classes with the teachers. We also organize social interaction activities and competitions for the students to meet their teachers and peers outside academic hours to facilitate global exposure.
Will there be constant guidance from the counselor/teacher?
Yes, your child will be provided with continuous guidance and support whenever they need us during their entire duration of association with us.
Can my child choose their exam schedule?
Yes, they can choose to take their examinations or tests based on the completion of certain milestones in their course. You will get all such information during the process of enrollment and pursuance of your coursework.
How are exams conducted?
All the tests and quizzes will be provided online. Your child will have to progress through them sequentially and is not allowed to skip through the areas unless it is allowed by International Schooling.
How can credits be recovered?
Your child can earn credits by selecting and completing courses. Additional courses are also available, provided you can invest the necessary time and effort to excel in them.
Will my child receive a certificate/diploma?
Yes, your child will receive the applicable certificate or diploma upon the successful completion of their coursework or level.
Can my child get into a college/university after getting a certificate/diploma from International Schooling?
Upon successful completion of their course or level with International Schooling, they will be issued an American certificate or high school diploma. You may provide this certificate or diploma to their academic counselor or guide at the college or university to which you are applying.
What is the fee structure?
Each course has a different fee based on the grade, level, and subjects. Once you register with us, you will be guided through our fee structure before making the final payment applicable to you.
What are the enrollment dates and deadlines?
There is a fixed deadline to complete enrollment for group learning. However, for one-to-one learning, enrollments at International Schooling are open throughout the year.
What are the eligibility requirements to enroll?
The eligibility requirements for enrollment at International Schooling vary based on the desired grade level. Consideration is given to factors such as age and previous educational qualifications/academic levels attained. The minimum age for enrollment is 5, 11, and 13, respectively, for elementary, middle, and high school.
What is 'Connect to Impact'?
If you lack access to last year’s transcript, you may opt to take the 'Connect to Impact' test for a fee of 250 USD to apply for the next grade. This option is available for students in Grades 1 to 9.
How can I enroll my child?
